The content of this site is an open educational resource. The code that runs it is an open-source project. Both are free to use — within clearly stated limits. This page is the shortest possible honest version of those limits.
1. Overview
Deutsch50 uses two licences, one for each kind of work:
| What | Licence | Summary |
|---|---|---|
| Lessons, prose, examples, site text | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | Share and adapt, non-commercially, with attribution and same licence |
| Source code (PHP, CSS, JS, HTML) | MIT | Use freely, keep the copyright notice |
Where the two overlap — for example, code snippets inside lesson pages — both apply. If in doubt, choose the stricter one.
2. Content licence — CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
All lesson content, prose, examples, tables, and site text are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence.
In plain language:
- BY — you must credit the original author (Satya Prakash Nigam / AIAlchemyHub);
- NC — you may not use the content for commercial purposes;
- SA — if you adapt or remix the content, your version must carry the same licence.
3. Code licence — MIT
All source code — PHP files, CSS, JavaScript, HTML templates, and any configuration files in the project — is licensed under the MIT License.
The MIT licence allows you to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the code, provided the original copyright notice and permission notice are included in all copies or substantial portions of the software. It comes with no warranty of any kind.
4. What you may do
You are free to:
- read, study, and learn from the lessons;
- print lessons for personal use;
- share links to any page;
- translate lessons into other languages, with attribution and under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0;
- quote short passages in articles, reviews, or academic work, with attribution;
- use the source code in personal, academic, or commercial projects, under MIT terms;
- fork the code repository, modify it, and run your own version;
- use the code as a learning reference for building your own site.
5. What requires permission
The following are not permitted without prior written permission:
- republishing lesson content as a paid course or paid ebook;
- using the lesson content to train a commercial AI model or product;
- using the AIAlchemyHub or Deutsch50 name or logo as your own brand;

- removing or obscuring attribution notices;
- any other commercial use of the content that falls outside the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence.
6. Attribution
The minimum acceptable attribution when reusing content is:
Based on Deutsch50 — “Deutsch für Industry 5.0”
by Satya Prakash Nigam (AIAlchemyHub)

Licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
